What is LPP?

What

ITS in an intervention system that allows Mat to uncover the reason for your symptoms, and then, when possible, eliminate them permanently.

ITS provides solutions for 3 types of issues. Therefore, it is 3 intervention programs.

Orthopedic Health Program (OHP)

If you are suffering from back, neck, shoulder or knee pain, you are misaligned. The goal of ITS is to recalibrate your postural alignment and eliminate any issue that can be the consequence of this ailment.

It is made up of 2 parts:

  1. Evaluation

Evaluation of the client is broken down into 2 components:

    • Assessment of how your joints move (ROM)
    • Evaluation of your posture
  2. Treatment

Treatment is divided into 2 parts:

    1. Recalibration of posture with Posturology

Your posture can be entirely recalibrated… in an hour!

This recalibration is done by stimulating 2 to 3 areas of the body that allow your brain to connect with the muscles of your body symmetrically.

This creates a posture that is aligned. An aligned frame is the foundation for optimal movements from all joints.

When joints move well, there is no need for muscle tension.

The likelihood for nerve compression is then reduced significantly.

Over time, this is the best tool against the development of arthritis.

    2. Use of Osteopathy, MAT and ART to improve results

The use of hands-on techniques is complementary to the recalibration.

These methods, when combined with Posturology, allow for faster healing by either mobilizing joints, activating or stretching muscles and other soft tissues.

As well, strengthening and stretching exercises can complement the therapy.

Learning Potential Program (LPP)

Learning (cognition) is a phenomenon that scientists are just starting to understand. Modern imagery technology has allowed us, in recent years, to appreciate how the brain functions. Simply put, we know now more than ever how we learn!

The program is made up of 2 parts:

  1. Recalibration of the senses using Posturology

What makes the Learning Potential Program different than other approaches is that it starts with a focus on the learner, instead of focusing on the information the learner has to integrate.

A key example of this is improving the synergy of movement of the learners’ eyes. As shown in the picture, a student that does not converge effectively cannot integrate the visual information presented to him, whether it comes from a book or a black board.

By improving how the senses feed the body, the learner is in a position of capacity to efficiently manage information presented. He can then use it to perform in many settings where he displays knowledge.

  2. Brain exercises

The second feature of the program is the use of physical movement to improve brain function for assimilation of information. We learn as children by moving. Movement initiates and develops pathways in the brain that allow us to learn.

Older Adult Program (OAP)

This program is specifically indented for older adults that feel they could be more solid on their feet.

Over time, sensitivity of the senses decreases and the ability to stabilize us in our environment diminishes.

2 steps make up this program:

  1. Development of overall body stability with Posturology

The therapeutic tools used in Posturology have been proven to increase overall body stability instantly. Generally, gains of 50-80% in comfort and efficiency at standing upright are seen in a single session.

This applies for many cases of functional vertigo and tremors.

  2. Grounding Exercises

An activity portfolio is developed and adapted to the client’s condition where his stability is challenged in order to gain in strength and in confidence.
